    Mikhalkin is being allowed to lead the dance, for some reason. Kovalev on the backfoot throwing counters, slashing at the body with left hooks and cranking out 1-2s up top, but missing at disturbingly high a clip. Mikhalkin is actually brushing Kovalev's forehead with the southpaw jab at will. Kovalev throwing combos from too far out, not gauging distance correctly, getting blocked. Mikhalkin just easily scoring with pot shot jabs on the outside. Not like Mikhalkin is doing anything special; Kovalev just shooting himself in the foot this round..
