Dmitry Yuriyevich Bivol vs. Sullivan Barrera, 12 rounds @ light heavyweight

Bivol is sniping the body with lead rights, putting his weight on his bent lead knee. Barrera is doubling and tripling a light pecking jab at the chest while partially squatting, keeping his spine rigid and goalposts up, remaining squared up as Bivol circles & stalks. Nice lead right on the hip from Barrera. Stiff jab from Bivol, faking Barrera out with a light one thrown slightly off-lane, not quite a gutter-ball and yet clearly less accurate than he's capable of, then in comes the real jab, sharp and bang on the bullseye as Barrera parries the diversion. 1-2 from Bivol. Absolutely beautiful stuff here early, both highly technical, but cautious. A few exchanges promising sparks later on as this heats up. Picture-perfect right hand on the body from Bivol. Combo from Bivol at the bell as Barrera tries ducking past him.
