    Both are currently rated at 175lbs - number 7 and 13 respectively in the WBC, and Kovalev is WBO #5.

    I think it goes to the score cards I think if Kovalev tries hard to knock berrera out and can't he might fade too hard. buddy will want Kovalev to just box on points and let the ko come if it does. that being said I think Kovalev wins 8 or 9 rounds.

    sullivan berrera lost to hart which is suspect but he also clearly out boxed Joe smith who is tough as nails even hitting the mat he came back.

    There's zero reason for it to be scheduled for twelve, first of all (unless there's now a light cruiserweight title I wasn't aware of :sisi1) but yeah - it definitely will be a moot point, as we're not seeing R12 either way.

    Yeah but he has fallen from arguably like a 9.5 to a 6.5, whereas Barrera has dropped from a 7.5 to a 6.

    Yeah and his jab is still excellent, but he just looks so frail.
