Hell, I like the guy. But he's 41 and has looked shot. Maybe styles make fights, but jeez.

 

It's actually been a pretty clean fight and it's moving at a nice pace.

Pulev is putting on a clinic. Forrest has a crazy chin.

 

Did the commentator just say he can’t believe Forrest is maintaining his “vertical base”? You mean you’re surprised he’s standing?

 

Yep. Harpooning the soft gut of Forrest with straight right leads, sometimes bringing them up top, mostly playing it safe outside. Wonkadoodle southpaw attacks by Forrest, stumbling forward in diagonals and throwing from odd angles, missing a lot.

Forrest just got seriously buzzed with a minute left in R7, end may be nigh.

 

Forrest back to eating the right flush.

 

So far its been a good workout for Pulev

 

Forrest tough, gotta give him that but taking shots now.

They have to stop the fight. Forrest is going to get a concussion.

 

Looping rights on the neck have been Pulev's most hurtful shot all night. The knees of Forrest buckle every time.

 

Forrest has a tremendous heart, but he's been too open to a right hand to give himself a chance tonight.

If he pulls it off now, pin a medal on him.
