What's the cute story? Ward is no big hitter yet he stopped your man with body shots, I'm simply stating a fact.
You're the one telling stories and rewriting history saying Marciano lost to Lowry and La Starza.
Also Archie Moore was a phenom at 40 and he could punch.
So you come on here re-writing history with a clear agenda and expect to be taken seriously.
Agenda ridden fanboys like you on these boards are ten a penny and quite simply boring.

Do you mean how many punches Marciano threw per fight?

    Also his accuracy. (landed/thrown)
I have a sneaky suspicion that his accuracy stats are not as bad as the myths imply.

Have you noticed that all Marciano fans just happen to look like him? Amazing how that works right? That is the only reason these morons like Marciano.

Marciano fans are so stupid that they will never understand logic. The same Marciano fans who say Joe Frazier is too small to compete with modern sized heavyweights even though Frazier was 30 pounds heavier. Will say Marciano could compete. I actually seen a Marciano fan say that the 6'3 1/2 230 pound George Foreman was too small to compete with modern sized heavyweights. Even though he was a modern sized heavyweight and he did fight in the modern era. Then they will turn around say Marciano a guy 5 inches shorter and 50 pounds lighter could computer against modern sized guys.

Marciano couldn't handle punches from guys his own size or smaller. That is why Lowry almost knocked him out. Archie Moore and Walcott dropped him with one punch. But of course Marciano could handle George Foreman, Riddick Bowe, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, either Kilstchko brother, Anthony Joshua ect , you know. he is Rocky Marciano.

    What about Don Turner?
Who saw Marciano, trained the Klitschkos and Holyfield, and said Marciano was better?

Over 15 rounds with Rocky at his very best no light heavyweight beats him.

The posters who felt Kovalev prior to his losing effort would KO both Dempsey and Marciano were shown to be complete amateurs. Never assume any fighter is an ATG until said fighter proves himself to be an ATG. Those with experience know ATG abilities are only proven long term. Kovalev would be stopped very early by Dempsey or Marciano at their best. Complete mismatches.

Only boxing amateurs immediately gravitate to size. Much much more to consider. Size is the easy and less important parameter.

Aww $hit fellas, she's out of tampax and is on the rag again. It's that that of month , only with her she's always bitchin about something. Must have gotten evicted from her roach motel and ran out of food stamps again, she's been at the Welfare Office and now she's going after white fighters like she always does when that happens.

Who would you say punched harder. Kovalev or Ted Lowry? Lowry had 70 wins 46 kos. Kovalev has 30 wins 26 kos. So if Lowry could beat Marciano and almost knock him out at various stages why wouldn't the bigger harder punching Kovalev not be able to do it?

Archie Moore went on to win 33 more fights after losing to Marciano. Twenty two of those he won by KO and TKO. So he was definitely not over the hill at the time they fought.

I think they're reative to each other. Not in absolute power, but in the fact that they aren't in the very top tier of their weights. Rocky is a shade under the Foreman, Shavers, and Tyson group and Golovkin is a class under Julian Jackson, Benn, and McClellan. Every punch they throw hurts though and they both throw enough to break through their opponents guard and finish them off.

He was accurate, not every punch that he threw landed flush on the chin, but he touched his opponents the majority of the time.
