I like Kovalev and he isn't a robot. Im just not a fanboi. This fight is what it is. A waste of time.
I will say one thing about Kovalev. That ******* has some heavy hands for sure. He comes for the KO every fight. Out of all the hypes on this forum he seems to be the best from what I have seen. He has the power to KO anyone.. Not sure about his chin yet. Going back and watching some of his fights I see why Hopkins wants none of him. We will see what happens when he fights someone but to me he looks better than GGG.
No he is not a robot. That is a code racist word for white fighters. Kovalev comes to fight and he goes for the kO every round. When he fights I will be watching.
Kovalev has boxing skills, he just hasn't needed them yet. He slips punches, good timing, speed, cuts off the ring. Time will tell.......................
Sergeys a gangsta I just rewatched where he flipped off the entire British crowd after knocking out Clevery lol
www.fightnews.com/Boxing/cedric-agnew-camp-notes-239343 Cedric Agnew Camp Notes On March 17, top rated light heavyweight Cedric “L.O.W” Agnew (26-0, 13 KOs) completed his final preparations at the Main Boxing Gym in downtown Houston before departing to the East Coast to attend media engagements for his March 29th title fight in Atlantic City against WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey “Krusher” Kovalev (23-0-1, 21 KOs) that will be televised on HBO. “We’ve had our best camp. I’m ready and now it’s time to head to the East Coast for some press conferences before I show the world who I am and what I can do,” said Agnew. Despite being an accomplished amateur and undefeated as a pro, Agnew is relatively unknown and has been depicted by many outside of his hometown of Chicago and his adopted hometown of Houston as merely a stepping stone on the path to a Kovalev-Stevenson mega fight. “A lot of people aren’t giving Cedric much of a chance and are talking about other fights for Kovalev, but this kid is a gym rat who is going to shock the boxing world on March 29th,” said Bobby Benton, Agnew’s trainer.
Nice article, I hope Agnew does get to compete with Kovalev, the fans would be pleased, as for winning the fight, I really don't believe it, too much of a step up and too soon for Agnew.
I like Agnew, and having had a chance at looking at some of his fights, I would say he's better than prime Mack and about as good as Pascal. I do however disagree than he's ready for a title shot.....against the Krusher anyway. As a Chitowner, I'd have rather seen him fight that giraffe necked Fonfara and added a 14th KO to his collection.:yep Hopefully Cedric can be competitive enough to make some fans take notcie of him. He's gonna lose and get KOd, but hopefully he can continue fighting and maybe get a title shot again when he's truly ready. :think
As far as I know, Cedric Agnew has never been down as an amateur or as a pro. I think Agnew is sturdier and has a better defense than Sillakh. I doubt he'll win, but he'll give a decent account of himself and last longer, which is good for Kovalev because he needs rounds.
