Sergey Kovalev failed to drop Eleider Alvarez in 19 rounds? Evidence Kovalev has suspect power?

Did Eleider Alvarez expose Kovalev's power of being suspect?

  1. Yes, Kovalev's power has been proven to be suspect at the elite / highest level

  2. No

One of the few things Clev has is a good chin, so I'd listen to him.

Didn't he basically do just that against Roman Simakov?

That'd OBVIOUSLY be you, since you're pulling a FALSE EQUIVALENCY! I NEVER claimed Kovalev has suspect power! Your inability to put the dots together, merely exposes your own intellect.

Maybe! Maybe not! But this question is about Kovalev's power. Ward having a glass chin, or not, doesn't have any bearing on Kovalev's inability to drop Eleider Alvarez in combined 19 rounds, despite landing his best shots time after time whilst winning most of the rounds.

If anything, Ward having a 'glass chin' would only make Kovalev's power appear even worse, considering he failed to KO GLASS JAW Ward in combined 20 rounds.

Having power means you would be able to avenge a stoppage loss, by scoring at least one knockdown of your own in the rematch. Having power means, you would score at least one knockdown of your own, in combined 19 rounds when you yourself have been dropped thrice in that same time-frame.

Eleider Alvarez (who's power isn't even rated anywhere near as highly as the likes of Kovalev's) dropped Kovalev thrice in 19 rounds. Whilst this devastating power puncher in Kovalev, recognized by far more to be one of the most powerful punchers in boxing, was unable to even score a single knockdown in 19 rounds, despite landing WAY more punches and despite winning most of the rounds by landing far more flush / clean punches. This obviously raises reasonable question marks in regards to Kovalev's punching power?

Your inability to take constructive criticism, exposes you as either:

    1) a fanboy / fanatic who can' t handle the criticism of specific boxers.

    2) incapable of understanding constructive due to poor reasoning skills.

    3) The above the two points combined.

Funny how people get so triggered and riled, over a simple question!

So there we have it. Kovalev is feather fisted and Ward has a glass jaw.
