Froch has better single wins. Kovalev was considered the best fighter at 175 for 5 years? 6 years?

 

I was agreeing with you until your last couple sentences. Then you say Kov doesn't have the balls which is just silly.
Kovalev will fight anyone...but he shouldn't. It's time for him to hang em up. Not taking the rematch with Alvarez doesn't mean ****.

 

I just read the first page but how anybody would rate Froch over Kovalev is completly beyond me. Kovalev was fast, had tromendeus jab, hook, straing right, great feet placement, he was ruthless. I think though Jackson was right in saying that Kovalev is weak between the ears, thinking he was a self made man. He was too American in that way. Always be humble with your success, remember where you come from, who helped you being what you are.

 

I don't think that Kessler was Ward's best win but you are entitled to your opinion.

 

Says a lot about Ward for letting such an average fighter give him so much trouble that he should have lost a decision to him and had to destroy his balls in the rematch.

 

I'm just glad that after the 2nd knockdown alvarez didn't land a body shot.

 

Kovalev has more upside than Froch did in certain areas but he lacks the heart, toughness, chin and stamina that made Froch such a problem.

Kovalev is the better boxer but Froch is by far the better fighter. And when all is said and done goes down as the greater of the two.
