I just saw this posted on another site, it's a quality video so I wanted to share it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=BO0zSlqcuBQ
was trying to post this, but not be here long enough Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev really puts his punches together well.
What's there to be mad about? The scrub is fighting a FIFTY year old. Kind of funny actually. What's even funnier is when Kovalev beats the FIFTY year old Hopkins you guys will say "oh, Hopkins is old now?" The Light HW division stinks.
Nobody overrates Kovalev...we all know his opposition hasn't been great...but that's not because he's a cherry picker (like some) He's slowly been stepping up in no hurry...then all of sudden when he had a decent size audience he shows his phenomenal power and boxing ability...coming out of nowhere to destroy decent (not world beating) boxers...not often a man with these skills pops up out of the blue. Look at his boxing & ability and say this man isn't a world level boxer who could achieve big things in his division.
Nobody ever said Provo had top level boxing skills (I hope)....all Bradley had to do was not go full ****** & Provo would have remained fighting on ESPN cards after getting one sided to a UD.
Actually the same things were said about Kovalev being exposed and outboxed before his fight with Cleverly and we all know how that turned out.
They are two very different fighters. I've always thought Ruslan had poor boxing skills. He's a just a tough, determined face-first brawler.
Silakh was supposed to make Kovalev look bad too and Silakh did actually win one round vs Kovalev but the end result was very much the same as others being krushed.
