Sergey Kovalev: "I don't know if I can beat Andre Ward, but I want to fight him"

Sergey is in reality a deceptively humble man.

 

He is saying this to get Ward in the ring.

 

I hope this fight happens. Ward has been pathetically inactive for years. If he fights Kovalev it shows that he is willing to fight the best available and that maybe his promoter has been stealing from him.

Kovalev is not a trash talker. He says it how it is and that works for me. I don't need two boxers slapping each other at the weigh-in to know a good fight when I see one.

Let's just hope that the referee is neutral and they don't fight in Oakland. Ward's fight with Kessler was one of the dirtiest fights I've seen, and I have seen Hopkins' full resume. Ward could have been disqualified 3 times yet used the butts to win the fight.

 

How is that?

 

Son of Goosen, was it your Dad that screwed Ward out of money or Ward being scared that put a huge haps in SOG's career?

Ward will not fight Kovalev definitely. He's scared of him.

Kovalev knocks him out within the first 6 rounds if the fight really happens.

What has ward done or said that makes you believe he's scared of Kov? He moved up to the same division as Kov! Says he wants to fight him! One would think he would stay out of the division if he was truly scared! Where's your proof of fear?

 

So if he's not scared of him then get into the ring to fight Kovalev next. I will solute him.
