Sergey Kovalev: "I want to bury Sillakh"

It's a funny one to call this. Sillakh is very dangerous and has barely lost a round in his pro career. Skill wise I have no real doubt he's the equal of anyone in the division, and his flashing bodyshots have no equal...

But...that damn chin (and more to the point how easy he makes it to get to):roll:

Aside from the Grachev KO he was also very badly wobbled by Mitch Williams back in March and though he recovered quickly and Williams wasn't good enough to capitalise I ain't sure that he can hang in there with Kovalevs relentless aggression.

FWIW Beterbiev (fighting on the undercard) also both KDed and handed him a standing count at their second fight in the ams. - beat Kovalev too for that matter.

 

Darnell Boone knocked Kovalev down, Sillakh can definitely knock him out if he connects on Kovalev's jaw.

 

Well it's trashtalk and most people can deal with it but in the light of him killing a boxer, he should probably refrain from using anything remotely related to death to smack talk other boxers.

 

Doesn't Sillakh call himself the Black Russian? I really doubt he give a **** about some Russian - Ukranian rivalry

 

Boone also knocked OUT Stevenson, and lnocked down Ward. Can Sillakh also KO Andre Ward?

 

Probably yes.
Would it happen when they fought? Probably not.
