Well, don't have time to read through all this (got to the fifth page) but it sounds to me like Kovalev is an angry product of the ghetto who has trouble expressing his emotion in a constructive manner. Someone who I can easily relate to so it doesn't really bother me, besides, he has full control when it's really needed anyway, when it comes to fighting..
this is what you call "yellow press". You're forgetting a lot of people on this forum speak russian and will call you on your bull****.
Lets clarify something: Kovalev is a typical Russian tough guy. Legit, no nonsense, provoke him and he smashes you kind of guy, like the guys I grew up with. They speak their mind and they don't believe in political correctness. I find that quality to be enticing, personally, despite not being an ethnic russian (there is no love lost between people of my heritage and russians, but I personally consider all former soviets my people, and always treat them favorably). There will be people calling him a gopnik because he does have those tendencies. Its like calling Judah a hood, same idea.
Kovalev is racist... but then so many are racist both in the west and in russia... and for that matter even many keyboard warriors here. Personally, Kovalevs attitude outside the ring makes me hope for someone to knock his face into the ground. I much prefer the attitude of guys like Golovkin and Provodnikov.
Че ты подсасываешь? Иди сплюнь кончину, усосок.
The OP does have a point though - Kovalev did say "Every day I dislike overtanned guys more and more.". On a side note, I'd translate what KKKovalev said as "I like these 'sunburnt' less day by day". The interview is up there for everyone to see, so I am not sure how anyone who understands Russian can deny it.
he's on his way to ending his career nobody will be intested in watching him soon if he carries on the racist stuff his career will be over no promoters tv networks will want to be associated with him.
