How many times did Sergey stop fighting or turn his back to Ward begging the ref to intervene?

Ward even gave him time and space to recover!!!

Than a NO MAS to finish it off. Incredible. Just shocking.

Yeah, you'd be surprised how many fighters can take getting hit in the balls all night...

All night LMAO. STFU. Kov was hitting in the back of the head more than accidental low blows. There weren't even that many.

    AND STILLL

I agree. Kovalev looked like he was trying to find a way out. I figured that he would be affected mentally when his camp betrayed him, but he also quit in the ring when he wasn't able to do what he wanted to do.

    100% true.

I was actually surprised how effective he was on the inside.

Only people who've never taken a hard bodyshot would say Kovalev quit. Those bodyshots took everything out of him, really gutted with the result.

Sergey got beat up on the inside once again. Ward is a really smart fighter.

I found it strange too that Kov was looking to the ref and turning his back. That's when I started to sense that Ward would dominate the second half. I don't like how biased Roy was for Ward but call it boxer sense Roy could sense Ward was the crisper puncher and Kov was weakening. Roy didn't want to say it but I'm guessing he expected a stoppage for Ward after seeing the early rounds.

The combination of Kova feeling the urge to throw more punches on the inside and having a higher output in general and that Ward ripped him to the body and a lowblow made it so that Kova was shot after a few rounds.

Ward doesn't let any pressure of a fighter and he don't take any rounds off.

I agree I really liked Kov's activity but it was obvious he was physically weakening as the fight progressed. I thought we were going to see III because I thought Sergey was up on the cards and Ward didn't look super aggressive. What a fight!!!
