The fight made me think its closer than I thought it was

Id favour Kovalev 60/40, they both leave themselves open its just Kovalev has a high workrate, he knocks people down with a jab at the end of a 3 punch combination

He will catch Stevenson first hope it happens, its one of the biggest matchups for the fans

I was refering to his interview with MK after the Bellew fight, at the mention of Kovelev you can see it in his eyes that he's scared shitless of him :rofl

also, if he really wanted Kovalev, he wouldn't have run off to Al and the gang and use the "Showtime offered me more money" excuse

This isn't only a sport/hobby for these guys where they fight to seek legacy and only that, they also do this for the money and seek serious fame and serious paydays. Do you honestly think that Kovalev would have turned down a similar offer which obviously provides a better future?

 

I do realise Adonis is 36 and has a family to feed, however, by making such a ***** move to avoid fighting your biggest threat in the division after so much trash being thrown by both guys will only increase public demand for the fight and put more pressure on Stevenson the longer he doesn't fight Kovalev. Plus, is he going to get more credit for beating a 50 year old who's been declining rapidly, or a 30 year old fighter with a murderous punch in his prime?

I don't think Kovalev is slow. I think he has a good chin as well, so forget about the weaknesses. He will be up and ready for any challenge.
He is a major threat to anyone at light-heavy. Stevenson looks great as well, but I
question his boxing ability even more when he gets into deep waters.
