Ward out scored him in the second half of the fight. What an amazing come back. Incredible.

 

Sergey went a little too far

 

Kovalev edged it 114-113 on my card, but I won't complain about Ward winning by the same margin. Ward's body punching and cleaner punches down the stretch ultimately carried the day after a horrible start over the first three rounds.

Wonderful fight. I'd love to see a rematch.

 

Ward looked rusty at the start, but once he settled in we saw his class, I think the rematch would just be an even more clear decision

For the record, Ward would win the rematch clearly.
