A 50 year old Hopkins isnt that far removed from a prime Ward

His inside game has worked great against the guys hes fought - but against someone as powerful as Kovalev or Beterbiev?

    Forget about it

Beterbiev has the best inside game in boxing. He can knock you out with almost no backswing - Ward would be commiting suicide trying to fight him on the inside

    And Sergey isnt much different

Ward lacks the power to even make these guys think twice

Ward's a talented mofo, but he would be destroyed by either Sergey or Artur, hence the blatant desperation to stay out of 175

Ward beats Kovalev easy...could even drop him in a flash knockdown. Kovalev aint met nobody as fast, skilled and clever as Ward

Make no mistake about it Ward would get savagely KOed. Did you see the look on Hopkins face when he was on the canvas from one right hand from Kovalev? It was a look of horror and terror and he ran the rest of the fight.

Kovalev is not some crude puncher he is calculated and has patience. He is perhaps pound for pound the most savage puncher in the sport.

It is an easy fight to make since they are both with HBO. Ward needs to take the fight and prove his Chin. HBO will basically have to force him to take the fight Ward won't do it on his own accord.

No, your first sentence was so ridiculous I didn't see any point in reading any further.

The longer he's out of the ring, the better Ward gets, apparently. Kind of like how ex-presidents are always more popular in retirement.

If he hits harder than Jackson, Hearns or Shavers p4p then Klitschko better retire soon or he is going to get ktfo by Artur.

Ward would take a pounding and the fight would end Ward quiting on his stool. How can anyone believe Ward is P4P if he really thinks Kovalev is too big for him, for f..cake! Its only 3 pounds :D Same time people don´t see any problem if GGG vs. Ward happens at 168. A bit too contradictory to my taste.

Kovalev aka 'me no move up weight' could not even knock out an old 49 year old and he is going to make Ward quit? :rofl

Time will tell. If you are right then I will feel privileged to watch him work.
