    The public wins

Unsure is Beterbiev can take a punch properly yet. Kovalev seems to get shook easily, but recovers quickly too. I think if it happened in a few months, Kovalev wins. But As time goes on that will change

Hard to predict. I think Kovalev looks a little chinny. Beterbiev as well as Stevenson can punish that.

He didn't spark Kovalev he won by two points in a controversial win when Beterbiev was the favorite son of Lebziak the National team's coach who was horrible for playing favorites. After Gaydarbekov won Silver at the 2000 Olympics Lebziak kicked him off the team because of his personal feelings towards him. When Romanchuk was falsely accused of murder and on trial facing a life sentence Lebziak abandoned him and offered zero support, the guy is a scumbag. Kovalev being frustrated by those amateur politics is why he turned pro.

Too early to call right now. Beterbiev started his Pro career not that long ago. But it'll be a great, great match-up in the future.

As great as we saw Kovalev box last night, Beterbiev is a very serious threat to him.

Sillakh isn't a relatively light puncher at all he's actually got very good power to compliment those beautiful silky skills of his.

in Kovalev's defence, he has actually fought Beterbiev twice before and as far as I'm aware he wasn't stopped either time. He lost a razor-close 25-24 decision in the Russian nationals which Kovalev feels he deserved to win. I know it's different with amateur gloves and head guards on but there is a reason why Beterbiev had such a beastly reputation in the amateurs.

Bit early to be thinking of tossing Beterbiev with a seasoned pro like Kovalev.

In 18 months to 2 years it would be very interesting.

    Beterbiev is too raw.

    Krusher would batter him.

Amateur bouts don't mean **** in the pro game.

Kovalev is a smart and technical boxer now under JDJ and that will show if he fights Beterbiev.

Beterbiev looks unbeatable, so much power and a gret chin. kovalev on the other hand got shook by hopkins who isn't known for his power. i sure wouldn't bet against Beterbiev in this one

I hope this fight happens, I think Beterbiev would stop Kovalev within 2 rounds.

Kovalev has to be the favorite for obvious reasons.

Skill for Skill - Kovalev is better
Might come down to who is tougher and can take a better shot though.
