Sergey Kovalev vs. Bernard Hopkins: who wins?

    Hard to pick against Hopkins. Stylistically Kovalev is a great match up for him. I think Hopkins will smother and neutralize his power and frustrate Kovalev he will also outbox him. I don't see anything special in Kovalev other than his power and if Hopkins was 39 instead of 49 he would shut Kovalev out and school him. I also feel that Brother Nas will watch Kovalev wrap his hands and have something to say about it to the commission it will be mind games from the jump.

    Really? Where did i say that? I said i was hoping Hopkins would win because it would have been an incredible feat to overcome such odds at nearly 50 years old, but i dont recall saying he would win. And i know i never made a bunch of excuses in advance in case he did lose like you did. So just be a man and admit you were wrong about EVERYTHING you predicted from Hopkins fighting dirty and getting a corrupt decision from paid off judges and a ref from his part of the country to your own pick i this thread about Hopkins getting the decision. Bottom line is you're just a fanboy and dont know sh*t about boxing who spews favoritism for guys he fantasises about and covers his bases with excuses before they even fight. Lol, PATHETIC!! :lol:

    You didn't watch the fight. Kovalev fought at a distance, moving in and out, preventing Hopkins from landing head butts.

    Hopkins did trip/push him down in round 3 and pushed him in the throat while tying up his foot in the 12th, and the referee didn't say anything either time. And the ref was on Kovalev's back for hitting the side of B-Hops head, but B-Hop kept turning his face away and that's why some punches landed there.

    But Kovalev was so much better and had such a good game plan that Hopkins dirty tricks and a biased ref didn't make much difference.

    Also I was right about Kellerman's commentary being extremely biased in favor of Hopkins.

    However, I didn't expect the judges to be 100% fair, but they were. And I didn't think the fight would be so one-sided (although I knew he would deserve to win) but Kovalev is even better than I believed he is.

    KO4Clev is a class act. Just Adonis left now, the unifier of LHW and a superfight in the making.
