He said in his interview with Lampley (unless Jerry Olaya was translating him incorrectly) that he was "teaching Rios a lesson".

That's what vigilante justice gets you, apparently. :!:

I think Drakulich just wanted to flex his might in there and show he was the authority in a fight he felt he never had much control and wanted to vent on the fighters themselves. (plus, the squeaky wheel gets the grease, Rios was literally throwing toddler-style temper tantrums over Chaves pushing his face away to halt Rios' own deliberate butts)

This is a joke right?? hahahaha

This fight clearly proves that Rios, chaves, and thurman are on the same level in terms of speed, power, skill. Both fights ended in an avg of 9rds basically even.
The physical abilities of those guys are all on an even par.

Pacquiao's speed and power put rios to shame.

He lights thurman on fire …as does marguez and bradley.

John Kerry should stick to the Israel-Gaza conflict and leave boxing alone.

He didn't resort to any of the dirty tactics with Keith. Keith caught him off guard.
He knew what Brandon had to offer early, and didn't like it.

  5. Pacquiao's speed and power? What power in the Rios fight and Pacquiao hasn't looked fast since talks of PED use occured.

Out of all the guys you mentioned, Pacquiao's physical abilities are the probably the worst. That's why he has to get catchweights to put fighters on an even playing field.

The power that made rios attach his gloves to the side of his head and not throw punches back maybe???? :patsch Left his head looking like a basketball maybe???

Clearly Chaves didn't like rios power…at all from the opening bell.

After seeing this triangle of fights DO NOT tell me thurmans speed is exceptional to either of these guys.

Pacquiao made ríos look to be in SLOW MO

Thurman landed that body shot on the inside.
Thurman didn't fall in head first and wrap an arm around Chaves though, so I guess he didn't have a chance to hold:lol:

    LOL. :good

  11. A lot of fighters make Rios look slow.

Thurman's speed may not be as good as Pacquiao but he can make up for it in boxing fundamentals, brute strength, and pure power.

Pacquiao is more fragile of a fighter than you think.

Can we agree that there are no winners in this fight? Drackulich, Rios, and Chaves stock all went down a little or at least didn't go up.

He was instigating all the use of headbutts in the clinch, he also flopped embellishing big time which cost Rios a point. Rios never threw him down, that was BS. The guy used the double arm bar all night, what the hell is that ****.

I never said Rios was the better boxer, that's pretty obvious
