Magdaleno is flipping right jabs up from his thigh and walking Rodriguez down, bouncing with his balance shifting from leg to leg in rhythm. Big body shot by Magdaleno and Rodriguez goes to a knee. Rodriguez spits out his gum shield while getting up, buying himself some extra time. Byrd doesn't appreciate the sneakiness and deducts a point from Rodriguez. Time in. Ten second clap. Two HARD left uppercuts to the body by Magdaleno. More body shots by Magdaleno, who kebabs Rodriguez into a corner but can't finish before the bell.

Magdaleno is throwing away right jabs and hooks up top, getting Rodriguez to instinctively lift his guard, and then launching his crossbow bolt left uppercut into the body. Rodriguez is blocking, circling away, and holding when he can. Magdaleno is landing hard lefts on the flattened and oozing nose of Rodriguez and folding him over with even more painful left uppercuts downstairs. Big right hook and Rodriguez is wilting on the ropes.
