Mayfield is reaching in with jabs as Dulorme boxes tall on the outside, throwing quick drop-in combos. Long lead left hook by Dulorme, stunning Mayfield. Double jabs and climbing right by Mayfield, grazing the chest of Dulorme. Another long hook by Dulorme slapping Mayfield across the cheek, just missing with a right cross as Mayfield bounces outside.

Round 2

Mayfield is getting out-jabbed on the outside, sliding in and countering with a right hand but unable to capitalize as Dulorme's stiff jab keeps pumping into his face to control distance as Mayfield seems able to move only in straight lines to and fro. Nice 1-2 by Dulorme. Mayfield is swimming out and treading in deep waters, cleaving to the perimeter, pushing off the sides of his feet to circle beyond Dulorme's range. Mayfield takes a daredevil lunge in with a high 1-2, countered by Dulorme's 1-2 with both men seeing their arms knocked away in deflection. Dulorme is snapping jabs out in front of Mayfield's face, a couple of inches short from landing but keeping Mayfield shy.

He is boxing as if he is the dumber boxer, which he is. :good

Dulorme is no Hopkins, mind you - but he is the harder hitter than "Hard Hitta" and his fundamentals are sounder. Mayfield represents the new-school movement of inaccurate speedsters who rely on inaccurate spray-n-pray volume punching, maybe the (aesthetically) worst style going after clinchers. The only advantage Mayfield has is speed, and that advantage is hardly massive.
