So I guess Alvarez didn't take it serious the second fight.

At this point of Kovalev career, he hasn't been the same since the 2nd Ward fight. I take Bivol at this point. Even though Bivol is still finding himself. He can be a bit wild and sloppy.

Yeah, in all likelihood he did, but sometimes fighter B at his best is just never as good as fighter A at his best.

You got a point there but he did knock Kovalev spark out in the first one.

He was easy to stop when he was badly prepared, dehydrated, struggling to make weight in general. With discipline and new approaches to training that could be helped. Yes, Kovalev is not getting younger, and he's rather an old 35 years old boxer, but he can adjust his style for that and move less, not bombard his opponents' high guard with heavy punches, etc.

I voted Bivol by UD, but I still give Kovalev enough chance (let's say 45%) to win as well.

Not sure Shabranskyy, Mikhalkin or even Alvarez would agree

Anyway, I reckon Kova drops the hammer on Bivol who has been buzzed badly in his last 2 fights.

I picked Kovalev by KO. But maybe it's just what I would like to see happen lol. Bivol is no slouch. That would be a fantastic win and would have to be considered way up there in terms of fighter comebacks. A lot people had written Sergey off even before the ko loss to Alvarez. I think the Alvarez rematch plus a win over Bivol might tip Kova over the edge for entering the HOF(something that was debated in an earlier thread...I thought he wasn't quite there yet).
