Alvarez will have the same game plan , hang tough for the first 5 rounds then Kovalv starts to slow down and his punches lose power . From round 6 on Alvarez is more aggressive but still careful eventually he will tag Kova and it is Ova !
How did he overtrain he was gassed by the 5th round. The truth is Kovalev doesn't like training. Doesn't like cardio or sparring.
He didn't take a beating, he got punched in the head then punched in the nuts, then the ref prematurely called it off. Being robbed in the first fight did more damage to Kovalev than anything in the rematch.
Lol! Keep telling yourself that. Ward whooped his a$$ badly in the second fight. The low blow excuse myth has been debunked ad nauseam.
I don't get it why so many people are writing off Kovalev. He was clearly in command in the first fight up to the moment he got caught, and usually the better boxer wins the rematch. Not saying he should be favorite here, as there's a good chance Alvarez drops him again. But people are acting like Alvarez was in control troughout the fight, which clearly is not what happened.
Keep parroting the “There wasn’t no low blows” crap. It’s on tape dumb dumb. We saw it. We see them in the replays. We also saw all the crap before the bell too like that weird back acne on Wards back among other things. Regarding their first fight... This content is protected This content is protected Your boy couldn’t beat Kovalev without resorting to fouling or corrupt ****. Bottom line.
I never said there weren't any. What I said was Kov got whooped and it wasn't because of the low blows like some of you clowns insist because you can't take the fact that your boy got beat soundly.
think about it Kovalev was hurt very badly why would ward try to get himself DQ'd? Imagine if after 2 knockdowns vs alvarez if a punch was borderline of alvarez. I'm sure everyone would claim Alvarez should have been dq'd too.
