    Mikhaylenko is backed into the ropes as Mayfield bull-rushes, throwing overhand rights. Mikhaylenko bounces off the ropes and counters with a short right hand, driving his left bicep into Mayfield to stem him off. They clinch and the ref begins to yell. Mayfield sweeps a few shots at Mikhaylenko's sides and then pins him between his arms while Mikhaylenko counters with a left hook downstairs. The ref warns for holding. Mayfield crouches and shoots the up-jab from below his chin while creeping left. Mikhaylenko pressures with lead left hooks and sharp jabs. Mayfield keeps ducking while moving laterally, springing at the knees while keeping his gloves tented overhead. Diving left hook on the body from Mikhaylenko, countered by a clubbing right on the upper back from Mayfield. They clinch by the ropes. Mayfield tries a shoeshine below the elbows but Mikhaylenko shoves him off with both forearms and stuffs in a hook.
