Moorer didn’t spend much time at light heavy. But for some reason I feel that with his hand speed, power and attitude he might beat Kovalev. Sergei looked invincible for a couple of years but aside from beating a 49 year old Hopkins and Nathan Cleverly his scalps weren’t that good. Well there WAS also Jean Pascal but still. Kovalev was twice stopped by men rising in weight and by another guy who wasn’t a particularly big hitter. I just have my doubts especially against a guy who would have had Manny Steward in his corner
Moorer by absolutely brutal KO. Kovalev was very good fighter in his prime but he always had a certified glass jaw (even back in his amateurs days), and Moorer hit very, very hard.
