    Since these two are rumored to fight each other later this year, I might as well make a poll for it and see what happens...

    If Kovalev comes in 100% focused, I think he could take this. Unlike Joe Smith, Kovalev actually has some boxing skills with power and would be able to land on Barrera, eventually wear him down and get the stoppage.

    Kovalev should take this pretty convincingly.

    Barrera is tailor made for SK and should be broken down via the 6th or 7th round.

    I don't think Kovalev will have more fights this year. Barrera should fight Bivol.

    Kovalev is on another level. This should be a good fight to see of Sergey has recovered psychologically from the Ward fight.

    Normally you'd have to pick Kovalev. Barrera is a good fighter but Kovalev was one of the best in the sport for a while and would beat Barrera and probably by stoppage.

    Now with Kovalev talking about retirement after losing twice to Ward it makes you wonder where he is at mentally.

    I don't know if I'd pick Barrera to beat Kovalev but this is a dangerous fight for Kovalev at this point in his career and I wouldn't be at all surprised if Barrera pulled the upset.

    Kovalev KO. Barrera is hurt and/or dropped by pretty much anyone half decent he's faced.

    Kovalev should knock him out. I guess an interesting storyline will be where his head is at after the two Ward debacles.

    A lot are quick to write off Sergey. When he doesn't have to worry about protecting his sausage he'll be brutal as ever

    I'd take Kova stoppage. His stamina is going to be a problem again for him, but not in this fight. Barrera is decent and a capable fighter, but there's levels.

    Kova stops him. If the ward loss didnt hurt him to bad. I havent seen footage of him since but he really seemed just DONE
