    Barrera is hammering the body and Valera is lowering his elbows to protect himself. Valera is skipping around the ring wearing a concerned frown. Lots of clinching. Barrera is shooting a jab from outside and Valera is swatting it away, backhanding with his lead hand (switching his stance frequently) and then swooping out with heavy uppercuts downstairs once they have separation to draw the line in the sand. Barrera is carefully winding his way inside, calling Valera's bluff, jabbing him in the face and forcing him to clinch. Valera slippery, grabbing the back of Barrera's neck but disengaging as Barrera starts to lower his fists to work the body.

    NOPE its more the Ward haters looking for reasons to diminish the MANY great wins he has had. Barrera was a legit top win for Ward over a bigger top 5 guy who I think would beat Stevenson

    Valera has another point deducted for a low blow. Ortega warns Valera, one more will be a DQ. Moments later a firefight erupts. Both land a bit, Valera more with luck and loose-limbed awkwardness (tossing many blindly on a prayer) while Barrera is actually exercising marksmanship and craft. Barrera is lining Valera up for the 1-2 but can't lay it down as Valera slinks to either side and then bodies up against Barrera, clanging his elbows off his chest unseen by the ref.
