    Shabranskyy is hit on the sternum by an early depth-gauging right from Kovalev. Shabranskyy is jabbing the belt line and staying outside. Kovalev is swinging his gloves around his crotch, gyrating in from the flanks, keeping his intentions unknown to Shabranskyy, putting out jabs to head and body. Shabranskyy lands a couple of nice body shots from outside while slipping jabs but is surprised and dropped by a Kovalev right cross. Shabranskyy is up and circling but after fencing with the jabs a bit he soon tastes Kovalev's power again. Saved by the bell.
