Sergey Kovalev will knock Andre ward the hell out FACT!

Both Ward and Kovalev are hitable with right hands. Ward is no Floyd Mayweather when it comes to defense. Not even close. Floyd rolls and uses the catch and shoot. Ward just grabs hold.

Kovalev is going to retire Ward. Would not take all that much...considering he almost never fights anyway. Ward is going down. Good side for Ward is that Kovalev is going to hit him so hard it will knock all the rust off.

Remember Kovalev has no defense, but a solid chin. Should be an interesting fight.

That's really all that needs to be said. Floyd is a defense first fighter and is one of the best at not getting hit. But in the end he still got rocked by Maidana, Mosley, Cotto, Pacquiao, Judah and tons more.

Many fighters that hurt Mayweather in the past aren't on the same level as Kovalev.

I think Ward has a good chin but he does rely on clinches and inside rough housing to stay out of trouble and nobody thinks he will get away with that vs Kovalev.

Not half the punching power of Kovalev, huh? Guess you've never heard of guys like Edison Miranda, Arthur Abraham and Carl Froch, huh? 3 of the biggest punchers at 168 to ever lace them up. Do they hit as hard as Kovalev, maybe not. But twice as hard... hahahaha NOT

 

He was exaggeration but Sergey is bigger and hit good bit harder

None of those 3 have half skill of Sergey either (that was exaggeration again but Sergey lot more skill)

I just want to point out that Ward beat the cream of the crop at SMW, then stopped the best at LHW.

We all know that Kovalev, has brutual power, but against the very best opposition at LHW his power doesn't seem to show as much. I am not sure he can wear Ward down, as he would need to land clean punches for this to happy. Ward is a master inside fighter, and his outside game is just as good due to his lazer jab and great movement.
