That and don't really enjoy his style aesthetically. He also struggled badly with some low-grade journeymen a few times on the way up and bailed himself out solely with power, scoring lucky shots he did nothing to set up, without really learning anything from the experience or improving his technique, which bugged me. And then when mainstream fans started to discover him they were like "omg check out this Russian d00d he's super powerful and has mad skillz and could become dominant!!" and I was like "lol". And everyone got mad at me for cautioning against getting carried away with the hype, because (at least in the case of goons like Kevin Willis/Todd) white supremacy is blind to reason.

Do you think he's capable enough to keep stringing together mediocre at home defenses for another few years, or that he's an accident waiting to happen irregardless of careful match making?

Probably the former but I won't be shocked if a wild card like Portillo makes him fold again.

We should begin to find out today, but Carpi might be legit dangerous or might be a one hit wonder (depends on how good Amonsot truly is these days, which is a hard call. His streak was impressive on paper and they weren't bums he fought but neither were they world class. Middling, all.)

Plotnikov looks like the 4th-in-command of the protagonist (or antagonist) gang in every single movie about the mob.

Round 1: 10-9 Lubkovich; Good start by Lubkovich throwing 1-2s upstairs and some right hands to the body. Plotnikov content on mainly covering up so far.

    10-9 Lubkovich

Plotnikov has only been stopped or knocked out once, and that was in his last fight (May 2016 against Ahmed El Mousaoui)

Anyone remember the stories about what a monster Sillahk used to be in the gyms? I guess he was known to drop in all over the place and more or less paddle their best guys ass, including more than one actual talent. Reminds me of the complimentary in-gym stuff you'd also hear about with guys like Andrew Golota.
