Bufferov is a huge fan of Tretyakov's, apparently. He never announces fighters' names with that much enthusiasm.

 

Eh, they have a robust "middle class" and have produced a lot of elites, but in the lower depths there are quite a few cab drivers.

Even a Mexican with a 3-19 record is still a hard night's work. Can't say that of a 3-19 guy from most other South American countries.

Similarly, beating a 12-6-1 Lithuanian/Hungarian/Czech/Latvian isn't quite as impressive as beating a 12-6-1 Russian, Kazkah, Uzbek or Ukrainian.

That is generally true yes but we get a lot of "squash" mismatches on Argentine cards...mid-level guys fed absolute tomato cans and destroying them with partially blocked flurries inside a round. You get that less in Mexico and Russia where there's more parity and pretty much nobody competing professionally is that much of a pushover.
