Can't really scoff at a bloke trying to become a 4 weight world champion but it's just a bit disappointing that he hasn't really gone for the big fights we want for him, especially after his recent statement about fighting "who he wants to fight".

No unification at 126, no unification at 130, no unification at 135, no Crawford, no Loma, his careers becoming somewhat anticlimactic and it's a little unbecoming for such a talented fighter.

I read that Fortuna is fighting Easter Jnr on the Spence Peterson under card so I guess that rules Fortuna out of fighting for the vacant WBC belt. As someone already mentioned I could see Eddie Hearn paying the money to try and make Campbell Crolla for the belt.

 

It's hard to Unify at lower divisions, because there isn't really the pressure from the fans to make unification fights at low divisions, so the ABC belt holders are happy to milk their titles rather than risk fighting another champ. And the ABC bodies never make a titlest a mandatory. Loma hasnt unified yet, most other champs will avoid him if they can.
