Sergey Rabchenko is a 28 year old 5'10 Junior Middleweight Belarussian with a 27-1 20 KO's record. Born in and fighting out of Minsk, Belarus. He is more defensively responsible than many of his Eastern European counterparts, he's stopped many fighters with his sharp counters, and he can brawl when he has to. He's an impressive and persistent body puncher as wellHe's very skilled and sure to be a pain in the ass to a lot of fighters in the JMW Division, he finally gets he chance to shine in his upcoming match where he will hopefully crush Mundine and send the old Aboriginal Warrior into retirement in the Outback. He has the potential to be on HBO or Showtime I'm guessing in the next year, if he's successful against Anthony, so we can possibly see soon how good he really is. (Postscript: Mundine had one of his on nights, or Rabchenko isn't that good) Although I'm not sure if he is easily marketable, but at least tries with his occasional odd hairstyles. :toney:toney:toney:toney

Interesting to see what he gets done against Mundine coming up. Thanks for posting the Rhodes fight. I like the U.K. commentators for the most part.

:goodSo do I, although Jim Watt shows his bias a little too much sometimes.

I'm not sure he is bias toward certain individuals, (his cheering on Groves in the 1st fight, then Froch in the second would indicate that) rather than he makes his mind up after about a minute who he thinks is going to win, then and starts giving them rounds they don't deserve (he scored the Brook v Porter schooling for Porter)

Rabchenko is a legit foe for any fellow top 10 JMW to take on and us fans should get excited for.

Also interested in the Mundine fight, for whatever reason.

    Hmm...

I read online that Rabchenko will be heading to Australia 3 and a half weeks before the Mundine bout for his final stage of preparation. He'll have a sparring camp with another Hatton Promotions boxer Cameron Hammond.

I am glad that there are fighters like Sergij out there.Belarus needs some good fighters who can make some noise in the western countries.I for one still think that the most capable fighter of my compatriots- fighting in the paid ranks - is Gulyakevich. He would have had a fantastic pro career if he had had a competent western promoter. He still is a force to be reckon with but his best years are behind him.Damn! What a waste of talent!
    Good luck to Rabchenko!

He needs to get on a plane and set up shop in America.

Literally every major 154lbs'er fights in America, except him.
