    So, do we believe Mundine?

Do styles favor him in a potential clash with Canelo?

Gee that surprised me, I actually had the last 4rds 2-2

Open scoring in that fight ensured that both guys went for it last few rds

Yeah sorry, I messed up(I'm sleep deprived)

Thanks. Jose Pedraza v.s Michael Farenas seems like a good one to put up.

Canelo would never fight Mundine, that would be taking 10 steps back ,and he would bring nothing to the table .

If Canelo didn't quite have the hand speed with counters that he has, didn't quite move as well as he does, and wasn't quite as smart as he has shown to be, then yeah I'd say that stylistically Mundine would have the advantage more often then not. But those things, combined with Alvarez's just overall gap in talent plus the age gap... Mundine simply dreaming again.

I feel like I've had to say this too many times, seems like I'm a cheerleader for him when I'm not, but Mundine is a good scalp for anyone in a division with him to scoop up (with few exceptions; Alvarez perhaps being one of them if he wasn't young and active and we didn't know that he was still going to be coddled to some extent).

He has as much chance of getting the Canelo fight as he does of the Mayweather fight.

Unless he decides to avenge big bro.

Yeah, I was gonna say, there is the Rigoberto angle.

Plus, Mundine has actually made himself relevant here. (unlike after the Mosley win)

    Moral of the last week:

Beating an undefeated European knockout artist named Sergey is doable at 39...but not 49.

One final thought: enthusiastic about the sport as he may be, Hatton is a **** trainer.

    "Nicked that round, eh?"

    "Lost that one, yeah? :think"

"Knock this guy out! Get him!"

Rabchenko's clearly not a creative fighter who can think for himself on his feet and make adjustments in the moment. He therefore NEEDS to be handheld and given dynamic strategic advice during the breaks...not pep talks.

I started believing in Mundine when he knocked down Ottke with a left cross. I lost that belief 5 minutes later when featherfisted Ottke knocked Mundine out cold.
