If Kovalev can make it to the 12th he can win but I expect him to get stopped. I thought he was winning before he got knocked down but his survival instincts we poor.
Well we saw Alvarez could take Kovalev's shots but Kovalev couldn't take the power shots from Alvarez . A rematch would likely play out the same . I would rather see them fight different opponents . Kovalev isn't done just yet and Alvarez is now the man at 175 .

Kovalev doesn't want the rematch, he's just saying that to convince himself lol. he needs to retire like his trainer told him.... even if he won the fight, he should retire.
Kovalev used John David as a scapegoat for his last 2 losses. Bringing in an amateur Russian coach doesnt cut it in the pros. He wasnt prepared for this fight in many ways.
