The mind of a nuthugger has no logic.

What does it matter, Manny started pro fighting younger than Floyd, you look at age they start off at the same weights.

Nice way to make excuses for Manny though and at the same time try to denigrate Floyd.

Sergio is looking to cash out, there are a great number of fights at 154 and 160 for him that would be entertaining while they lasted.

Yep, says the man who thinks Sergio fighting people at 154 or 160 is the equivalent of saying he should fight a HW.

    :rofl:rofl

Didn't he just fight the #2 rated WW in Ortiz? I believe Manny is #1 and he hasn't fought because he didn't want the OSDT.

:huh You're saying May fighting Martinez at 154 is comparable to Direll fighting Pac at 168:think, Not fair, I say both fight Martinez at 154, and then Martinez fights, Bute, Froch, Ward, and Hop at 168. All great fights for us and will make Boxing the best sport in the world. (It already is)

Publicly turned down a career high payday against Martinez and then disappeared to Mexico.
Just got his ass kicked less than 6 months ago.
    Protected as hell.
Brings no money to the table and his only claim to legitimacy is a belt stolen from Martinez.
 I thought you wanted Martinez calling out top fighters.
Wanted to fight him in March but HBO told Martinez he was an unacceptable opponent (a position later changed for Chavez of course).
Completely embarrassed in his last 3 significant fights and it's unclear whether he can even make middleweight anymore.
They tried to make this fight for October; Sturm unsurprisingly wanted to stay in Germany.

I"m not saying Manny should fight Direll I'm using hyperbole to show the illogic of the argument that Floyd has to fight a MW to prove he is great.

    He doesn't.

Floyd doesn't have to do **** with Sergio, Floyd is a WW.

Sergio should be looking to fight in his divisions MW and Jr. MW if he wants to make some noise. He is too small to fight at SMW seeing that he is a small MW.

Devastating knockouts, destroyed pavlik, took a pdub fight on short notice faced adversity came back to almost win the fight, mops the floor with pdub in 2 rounds puts on a clinic knockin down a guy with a decent chin, 5 times who had never been knocked out.
