    I guess in light of Gennadiy Golovkin vacating his WBA title, Martínez has just decided the hell with keeping his middleweight ranking. :nusenuse:

    Both he and Teherán missed the division's limit, by quite a bit (Martínez by 3¼ and Teherán by 2¼ lbs), so they declared it a SMW contest.

    Martínez and Teherán share a hug just before the opening bell. Martínez comes out popping the right jab up off his lead hip with authority. Teherán is backed into the ropes and tries a couple of flurries to get free, but is pinned in place by overhand lefts. Teherán clinches. Martínez is unrelenting and keeps dishing it out, taking a half-step away only to return with more overhand lefts behind the right jab, until Teherán crumbles and falls.
