Um, who did you expect to pick it up in exact what regions?
Fite.Tv is carrying the international(or w/e) broadcast. So it makes sense that it costs money.

I'm pulling for Martinez. I am currently recovering from Microfracture knee surgery which is the same surgery he had. Hopefully we both get our wheels back.

Why is this happening? Sergio, why?!

I love watching him fight but this is ... ugh.

I have two bum knees. But I never got them actually treated by a professional. Every year I am getting a bit better but it has been a slow progress.
Slow and steady. (I am an avid runner but 30km is my current upper limit. My knees just give up at that point)

i think the only interesting fight in the card is the sergio garcia one, even against a domestic journeyman, i wonder if he can rise above european level. the other featured fighters are in the twilight of their careers and way past it.

Running is what did me in. Once I stopped competing as a boxing I transitioned into long distance running since I already did a lot of road work. Years of running and a genetic defect in my knee caused my Articular cartilage to wear out. I have had three meniscus surgeries plus Microfracture to try and stimulate some cartilage regrowth. It really sucks getting old!

Sergio had the same surgery and from what I have seen in interviews with him he no longer has constant pain.

I think Kiko might get at least one more big fight. His track record suggests so.
He usually steps up to world class only to get shot back down. Then he proceeds to KO a few nobodies and he gets another shot at the elite. He is still only 34, surprisingly.

I cut back on the long distance myself during Covid. 1 long run a week now 5-10 miles to maintain the long distance endurance but I mostly just do 2-3 milers now at a fast pace. Doing trail runs and hill sprints took their toll for a brief time. So I'm taking it easy until half marathons and marathons have started up again.

I suppose you can also predict the weather?

I myself did the same way, running. Busted up one knee really bad. What made things worse was that I kept running after I had obviously torn something.
And after a couple of years of recovering and being able to run again(up to 8km on a good day), I got a call to the military. Busted both knees there. Ended up so bad that while standing in formation, my knees would tremble. Fun times.
Been half a decade since and hey! I am running more than ever before! But I have my limits.

The few in attendance seem quite lively. Singing and chanting.

its very possible that he is cherry-picked once again after this fight but he is completely shot in my opinion. at his best he was at least fringe world class but those days are over.

He had a good run as the IBF champ. Got 3 solid wins in.
But that was 6 years ago. I think giving Warrington a good fight was his last highlight.
