I wouldn't worry too much about Hearn feeling shameful, this is probably going to bomb hard between that and the ridicule many will give him for making it I'm sure he'll feel plenty rotten. Not shameful though, salesman including Hearn, Warren, Arum etc., have no shame. Fish eyes would put this fight on without a second thought, I don't know about Uncle Bob.

That’s two extremely dangerous mismatches on paper he is now promoting, the other being Miller v Adamek. Hearn doesn’t give a **** about anyone’s wellbeing, he just cares about money. Golovkin-Brook proved that. Yet some people on here laud him as the saviour of boxing. Sickening.

Hard to argue this. Call me a sucker I guess, I like the guy. I understand why people don't, but the searing hate you're almost able to fill through the monitor from some is batty. He's a promoter, they are all scummy used car salesmen.

Hearn was also going to put Michael Grant (yes, theeee Michael Grant) in the ring with Whyte for his American debut just over a year ago or so, before backlash made him change opponent.

As some did with Haymon (PBC), JayZ (RocNation), Floyd (TMT) and even Oscar (GBP)... never got that either.

Oh my god... This fight shouldn't happen, it's waaaaay to late for Maravilla to make ANY impact on the MW or SMW divisions. He is nearing his mid forties and his knee is toast. There is a serious risk of Martinez getting badly hurt, especially if Chaves Jr. isn't able to get him out of there quickly.

If this turns into a prolonged beating of a HOF-fighter like Martinez, I might cry... Would be too much for my tender eyes.

I hope his corner have the b**** to throw in the towel at some point, no way Martinez will quit himself. Too much of a warrior.

Martinez must be really short on cash to even consider this fight. He is way older and his knees are ****ed up. Is he going to pretend that everything is alright like he did vs Cotto?

TBF what promoter isn't. We've seen many a mismatch, many a circus show in boxing from just about every promoter going.

Hearn isn't the saviour of boxing though, he's just another promoter competing at the top of the game, he has done well to help turn British boxing around, Warren was utter shameful with some of the cards he was putting on as top promoter ten years back, Hearn taking him down a notch has actually improved Warren's overall performance as a promoter but let's not forget he folded his company several times, fighters were jumping ship on the back of allegations of not being paid on time and he was putting on PPVs with the likes of Khan v Salita as headlining bouts.

You look at some of the **** Haymon, King, Arum going all the way back to Tex and the likes and they aren't massively different from each other.

This is a **** fight though, it's a cash in from both guys because they are no longer relevant enough to push in the queue to get a bigger fight, I have no idea their financial circumstances or motivations but I imagine this is just the easiest cash in to make. It'll probably do alright, circus shows generally do.

Sergio will get crushed. Early in the fight and it'll be either sadly easy or sadly brutal.
