I watched a few clips of Martinez on IG and he looks better than you'd think. He's moving around ok & his punches are sharp.
Shut up & take my money.

How's Sergio looking these days? He still got those dashing good looks of his or has his beauty withered with time? He was a straight 10 in his prime but if he's anything below an 8 now, which is highly likely considering he's 43 y/o, I'd rather he stayed retired. There's nothing more depressing than seeing a ATG most handsome boxer making a comeback and embarrassing themselves and tarnishing their legacy when their good looks are shot to bits.

And on top of that he promised his mother he wouldn't continue fighting after 40.

“There’s no way Sergio is gonna continue fighting past 40 anyway. He told me that a million times, he promised his mother. Whether he fights again now, that’s a personal decision he’ll make, and I’ll just wait to see.”

One thing is certain, dude is in great shape! Stupid fast for a 43 year old.
From the IG clips, i can with confidence say that Martinez vs Chavez II will look just like the first one.
But this time Chavez has a real shot at getting to Martinez early.

The dude has no legs. He is fit, sharp, fast hands, but can't move.

I haven't seen it but I know this to be the case. Hes to far gone legs wise and age to compete..Might look good throwing shots shadow boxing but reality and a ring against another pro its gonna be painful quite quickly to watch

From a few clips, it look like he can still move. But he moves like he should at his age. Not like he used to.
In that sense, yes, his legs are gone.
But Chavez is gun shy. Has been for a long time now. Martinez´ speed will again keep Jr. at bay and shut him down. The question is just how many rounds can Martinez keep it up? 2,3? Maybe even 8?
There is no way he can do again what he did in 2012.

Looks a bit like Hearn is scraping the dregs out of the last tequila barrel for a Mexican audience. **** poor fight. Ive never seen Chavez jnr as that good. Martinez is in the same home as Ortiz at the moment is what I heard.

Triple C, you mean. Despite being marketed as "Julio Jr." that isn't actually his name.

El Leyenda was Julio César Chávez González, and his son is Julio César Chávez Carrasco. Protocol in Western civilization has always been that you can't be a "Junior" (or "III" or "IV") unless your name is exactly the same as your forebear's including all middle names.

    https://schmidtgen.com/wordpress/2013/10/20/how-to-use-jr-sr-ii-iii-etc-with-cartoons/

Now, if JCCC had a son and wanted to name him after his grandpa the ATG, that baby would then be Julio César Chávez González Jr. or II. :deal:
