Padilla calmly pressures Martinez onto the ropes and just starts wailing on him.
Padilla is a bit sloppy and rushing things. He ate a clean counter left hook. If it had any power, there would have been a big upset here.

Pace of the fight immediately slowed down.
Padilla is now rather cautious.

Martinez finishes the round rather well, made Padilla miss bad.

Martinez is running in circles and Padilla can´t catch him.
It´s hilarious.

Martinez is making Padilla miss real bad at times. Nothing really clean is landing.

I don´t think Padilla did enough but probably will get the nod due to his activity.

Gomes, southpaw, comes out jabbing and quickly takes control of the fight.
Sanchez is just playing the waiting game.

Gomes using that jab to set up straight left after straight left.

 

Only two PPV´s I have ever paid for.

 

Sanchez comes out more agressive but Gomes immediately shuts him down and starts pressuring him.

Credit to Sanchez, he is completely outmatched but he has managed to tighten his defense and is now landing shots of his own, some nice counters as well.

Gomes comes out super aggressive but Sanchez is holding his own.
Gomes down, ruled a slip. I am not sure if it was a slip or not. I think he ate a punch there.

Now it´s Sanchez applying the pressure.
Gomes once again takes control of the fight, but he isn´t really able to land anything clean.

I think he won that round on sheer volume alone. IMO Sanchez actually landed the cleaner punches.
