    Round 2

Moreno is still having it mostly all his way, jabbing comfortably from a distance and now daring some left hook leads on the body doing a front-knee lunge and extending the rear leg. Torres has little to no answer for anything, soaking up shots on the gloves and taking hits downstairs unabated. Whatever stubby punches he fires in almost-range is avoided or picked off.

    10-9 Moreno

    20-18 Moreno

    Round 3

Moreno is barking with every jab, doing so in a somewhat predictable rhythm and leaving the door open for Torres to time him with something ...if he could muster the wherewithal. Torres content to just sleepwalk on the conveyor belt and play passive pattycake, unless Moreno happens to commit the odd footwork error and leave his back grazing the ropes, startling himself into a momentary paralysis with Torres spearing in rights and winging left hooks up top, headhunting and missing.

    10-9 Moreno

    30-27 Moreno

Would like to see Moreno step it up and get rid of Torres, if he can. Sort of an obligate issue when the gulf in class and physical advantages is this wide. At least try...and then if you can't, oh well, fall back on cruising.

Torres kept up his intermittent flurries of telegraphed power shots and didn't ever stop moving forward (and managed to graze Moreno's chin more than once in a row for the first time in the 6th by galloping in with a triple jab nudged past his gloves), so...credit to him for that. But, can't say either Spaniard fully earned their paychecks here. LOTS of dancing around the ring - Moreno content to bark & pot-shot, and Torres content to let him.

    60-54 Moreno

Torres beat the dogshite outta Peroune in the 1st, and had the Argentinian hurt at (possibly saved by) the bell. :ggg Needless to say, he's a cut above that other Torres from the previous bout. :sisi1

Another kind of funny parallel with the fight before this one - Perouene has some of the same habits as Moreno, standing up tall, jabbing & barking, and preferring to not mix it up inside...although he does have a little more variety to his game, and lobs in a few left uppercuts here & there. Perouene's nose is bloodied, either in this round or the opener, and Torres is consistently ripping some VICIOUS right hooks on a sliding first step. I wouldn't be surprised to see a knockout scored on another of those in the near future...

    20-18 Torres

La Máquina doing some tidy work here, walking Perouene down, just completely disrespecting the meager pop in his counters but still mostly keeping up and working out from a responsible shell on the way in. Heavy right hooks being threaded in to head and body now, Torres landing a high percentage but throwing fewer shots, as Perouene is just tossing stay-away right jabs and shoeshines nonstop to fend him off. Perouene hurt late again.

    30-27 Torres

Perouene might have shaded the fourth just letting both hands go for the full three minutes, although he wasn't terribly accurate with his shots and none were damaging enough to give Torres pause. Just relatively speaking more of a round off for the Pinoy, offensively. When he did rattle off some combos, Perouene was able to disrupt them, chaotically, almost by accident with his own arms waving in the midst of thrusting or retraction.

    10-9 Perouene, close

    39-37 Torres

Fifth is kind of a brain teaser...on the one hand, Torres did pick up his work rate, compared with the fourth, but not rising to what it was in the first three. He got in some hard neck-snapping punches to catch the judges' eyes...but got VASTLY outworked, as Perouene improved his own volume from even the previous frame, and spent a good deal of this one actually pressing forward and keeping his jab bouncing off the spot between Torres' eyes. Quantity trumps quality in this case.

    10-9 Perouene

    48-47 Torres

LOL, wtf - this whole time it has been completely ambient noise and the sound from the ring, no commentary. Now all of a sudden halfway into the co-main event we hear some dude putting on a headset and casually sliding into making the occasional remark as though playing it off he'd been present the whole time? :risas3:

Not really paying much attention here, but looks to me as though the fella in white and blue is winning quite easily

Sixth got WILD. They brawled as Torres pressured in with a 1-2 and Perouene flurried his ass off to back him up, to no avail. Perouene wound up getting put against the ropes, where they knocked the camera man off the apron with the combined force of their blows as Perouene bumped into him! Still more activity from Perouene, but Torres nailed him enough to put a tourniquet on his momentum from the last two rounds.

    10-9 Torres

    58-56 Torres
