Jackson is dancing around and plugging right hands to the body, with Jay Nady chirping at him to watch those "low blows". Nelson keeps pressuring and flapping his arms down, but Jackson is able to rip him with some hard looping rights to the jaw. Late flurry by Nelson, but not enough to steal the round as Jackson has been smoothly circling and setting the pace landing the clean punches.

Round 5

Nelson is bringing the heat, swarming Jackson with slaps upside the head and then blocking the short counters Jackson is revving up and telegraphing like a pinball release mechanism. Nelson keeps crowding into Jackson and dropping leather on him as Jackson backs up and tries to line up his right hand counter to the face. It's getting ugly, with Nady's presence needing to increase on the inside. Big flurry by Nelson putting Jackson on the ropes, holding him still with leaning and pushing as much as punches.

Yeah. He's solid, very underrated. Sometimes he says goofy ****, but who doesn't in a career as long as his? He's called some obscene number of championship bouts too, can't recall exactly off the top of my head but pretty sure it's a world record.

 

Round 6

Jackson is unloading on Nelson with straight shots, pushing him into a corner. Nelson gets out after weathering the storm and then taps his gloves together, eager to mix it up. Jackson steps out to his left, turned southpaw, and wings out a right hook to the head of the taller man. Nelson claws at the belly as they lean together in a gridlock.
