Omotoso is coming forward with hard right hands leads to the head and ripping hooks to the body. Sostre is landing flush counters with his right but not gaining an inch on Omotoso. Solid power shots put out by Omotoso, stepping in with confidence and planting his feet. Great balance by Omotoso along with nice power, selection and accuracy. Sostre isn't boxing terribly but is in over his paygrade with a much stronger man bringing a precise and technical pressure attack and easily muscling through his awkward counter-punching.

Round 6

HARD right hands over the top by Omotoso, and some hurtful left hooks tenderizing the body. Sostre backs up and slaps out loosely with uppercuts to the body that Omotoso barely seems to feel. Omotoso reaches in and tickles Sostre's face with the jab as his quarry leans all the way back and rolls with the punches. Sostre is showing a lot of punch resistance and mental resiliency if nothing else.

Round 7

Omotoso is hunting Sostre around the ring and putting together overhands and hooks with no signs of slowing. Sostre is ducking and bending backwards to get out of the way and actually making Omotoso miss a lot more than usual here. Omotoso's stamina is unreal. Nonstop power punches marching forward, always in position and close to Sostre despite the latter's attempts to sprint for cover. Omotoso is still bossing it on pure aggression, even though his connect percentage is taking a dip here.

Round 8

Nice whipping left hook counter by Sostre while circling away from Omotoso. Sostre is standing in front of Omotoso and beginning to answer back now, digging to the body. Omotoso is still missing a lot, winging power punches but with a bit of lost velocity from the early going. Finally Omotoso manages to get a piece of Sostre's head but it's with a stiff forearm to the side of the head while looping a right. He doubles it, and raps his wing bone off Sostre's braids. Sostre answers back with a shoeshine to the face coming forward to put Omotoso on the ropes. Omotoso has, as Colonel Bob puts it, total disregard for Sostre's power and just lets him take control until the final bell.
