    Round 3

Beltran is moving around on the outside as Martinez puts together hooks and lunging straight rights. Beltran simply isn't punching, circling around by the ropes. A few jabs pushed out as Martinez gets close. Suddenly Beltran smashes Martinez in the back of the head with a few chopping rights!! They hold and hit and Russel Mora gets them split up. Jab to the face by Martinez. 1-2 by Martinez. Beltran edges outside, and ducks the right hand. Left hook feint by Beltran.

    10-9 Martinez

    29-28 Martinez

    This is the last one.

Meanwhile, on Showtime, the second-to-last bout is about to start. Gonzalez & Ponce De Leon doing ring walks.

Yes, but the last bout before Canelo vs. Josesito is about to start on the other card and could be over quickly.

    So they could easily overlap.

The numbers for the fight has more to do with the opponent then who is more popular. The odds of Canello losing is slim to none. While the Jr fight has two big names in it.

You don't think the fact he is fighting p4p fighter Martinez has anything to do with it?

If Canelo was fighting Cotto, more people would be watching that.

    Round 4

Beltran opens up, big left hooks and rights to the head! Martinez lines up his 1-2 but gets ducked as Beltran moves around him and smashes him with right hands on the button. Left hook circling away by Beltran. Right hand to the ear by Beltran after slipping a Martinez 1-2. BIG RIGHT BY BELTRAN!! MARTINEZ IS HURT!! Beltran drills shots at him as Martinez ducks against the ropes. BIG LEFT UPPERCUT on the inside by Beltran. Martinez answers back with uppercuts leaning in. Big sloppy overhand right by Martinez misses. Beltran takes big swipes but falls a few inches short as Martinez backpedals. Big left hooks by Beltran coming forward, missing.

    10-9 Beltran Jr.

    38-38

Great little fight. Unfortunately, it's conflicting with Gonzalez vs. Ponce De Leon, which is about to start and has been a dream match-up of mine for years now. So, peace.
