It was a schooling, but Junior won't feel like a loser tonight after that final round performance.

It's all about money. That last round was enough to justify a rematch among people who DKSAB.

Yeah I don't see the point in a rematch. Let's not last the last round cloud our judgement, that was a savage beatdown from Sergio!

It was round 12, his eye had blood in it and he was being careless with his defence...could have happened to anyone.

Martinez is just in another level Warrior Satutus on the same level as Morales, he could just outbox him but he decided to go to war.

A Rematch makes sense, but I'd like to see Martinez face Golovkin and Quillin. He also deserves a fight with Mayweather. Yes I think the fight can be made.

hahaha bricked it in that last round. Fair play to Chavez he proved a point to himself but he was just outclassed tonight. No point of a rematch imo.

Max Kellerman is an embarrassment for even mentioning a rematch.

Junior only SAW the last round because he's a weight cheat. Martinez got sloppy, got caught and stood up to the bigger man like the champion he is.

Junior will never be on his level in terms of heart or talent.

My absolute favorite part of the whole fight, in round 11 I believe when Chavez had Sergio trapped on the ropes. And instead of circling away beautifully like he had been doing all night, he took it too Chavez stunning him and battling and battering him off the ropes and all the way across the ring. Trapping Chavez on the ropes, Sergio wasn't gonna be denied. :D:happy

Chavez will get beaten worse in the second fight. Sergio got too cocky and left himself open at the end. Now that he felt Chavez' power he will be a lot more cautious in the rematch. Sergio proved that he is the true middleweight champ.

Granted neither of them saw the twelfth, but they both managed to at least be competitive and win a few rounds among the first eleven.

I wouldn't favor Chavez Jr. over either h2h.
