    That's because he's a classic counterpuncher.

    Low arms lure your opponent in, and also make it hard to see the counters coming.

    Fairly, tactical and low action first couple of rounds. Martinez throwing more, but not landing cleanly. Murray just covering up, and throwing very few punches. 20-18 Martinez

    No, staying on the outside and boxing, throwing few punches to offset Martinez's rhythm is the right thing to do for Murray given his ability.

    Martinez is slipping Murray's jabs with springy pigeon-like neck bobs as he ducks and sidesteps on bent knee, undulating around Murray while putting up right jabs between his tightly pinned forearms, constantly pecking. Nice right hand timed by Murray. Body shots under the guard by Martinez after lulling Murray with bunches of southpaw jabs up into the arms.
