    Maciel is clapping up top with hard right hands and left hooks. Melendez is smirking as he eases into the ropes, pecking out with counter jabs and shooting errant rights past Maciel's throat. Lots of shoving and batting with the arms on the inside from both, very dirty stuff, ref struggling to maintain control. Maciel is putting up light jabs on the forehead and then backhanding a couple into the belly. Melendez loads up a right hand and misses past Maciel's head falling into the ropes, his feet unable to keep up with his forward momentum. Clapping right up top by Maciel. BIG hooking combo by Maciel just as the bell sounds.
