I'm going to lump some thoughts together here since ******* lurkers have crashed the board again (for over half a ****ing hour already now!):

    1) Steward cracks me up, acting like Williams got caught with a lucky punch after having won handily up to that point. :yep

    2) Kellerman's interviews were SUPER awkward.

    3) That was a perfect punch. Literally perfect.

    4) I'm all for a rubbermatch, but I can't help pose this question to any Williams fans who might demand one: Aren't these circumstances AWFULLY similar to the first two fights between Williams and Quintana? Nobody - and I mean nobody - agreed with me that there was any need for a rubbermatch between Williams and Quintana...:think

    Agreed.

plus alot of press had Margarito winning, it was a close fight yet no rematch

Cintron who was winning no rematch

Quintana like you said no rematch

PW after a lucky (and BS imo) decision over Martinez had to be dragged kicking and screaming in order to finally sign (catchweight no less) for the second match. **** PW, he doesn't deserve ****.

Is it just me or does the KO look a whole lot like the Donaire-Darchinyan KO?

Like Donaire, Martinez was finding a lot of success with the counter left, and then suddenly Williams, like Vic, rushes in with a left with his right hand down and Martinez's counter left finally hit Williams on the button and boom! The main difference being that Martinez is a southpaw and so he was moving forward to land that counter whereas Donaire was moving back, resulting in a much more brutal KO by Martinez.

The majority of the teeny boppers on the general forum are Williams nut lickers.

They're all on suicide watch now.

I got to say, I love to see KO's but I got worried fora minute about Pwill. I hate to see fighters get trashed like that on a single shot. I hope that everything is well with him and that he can recoup from this... A long vacation from Pwill and change trainers with Stewart perhaps it's my advise... I hope Floyd gives Martinez a chance... That would definately be interesting to watch.

Great post mate, who was Steward kidding?

You are right about the perfect punch, you can't commit any more to a punch, and time it any better than we just saw from Martinez. One of the best sounding punches i have ever heard as well.
