I've no idea, Jr is ballsy enough, TR matchmakers less so and Jr has that star appeal you can't buy. The WBC 160 belt is about to go vacant, only question is if Chavez can keep making 160.

It would go a long way if he's able to get fights with the likes of Geale for a unification (who wouldn't be a common opponent), Chavez Jr, Murray, maybe a comebacking Pirog.. after he fights Macklin in June. Those are all doable fights. Peter Quillin isn't anymore, however.

Well, yes, I agree. But all those big fights in a year? Doubtful. And I like GGG and SM.

I see a passing of the torch scenario next year. It would be a big money fight on HBO.

It's called making an assessment. Go ahead. You can look that up in the online dictionary.

Dibella doesn't think it is, and he's still spitting out the same lines he was last September after the trio of MW fights (Golovkin/Proksa, Geale/Sturm, Martinez/Chavez) took place. Golovkin needs to impress on the 29th and look to keep his quality of opposition up as he becomes a mainstay on HBO.

GGG has a big test with good boy Macklin in front of him. I can't wait for that showdown.

    :D

Can't come soon enough. He'll have a lot more fans, and maybe even more detractors after that night. People will rave over his timing and punch placement, really two of his best skills in addition to his natural heavy handed power.

I like GGG but waaaaaay to soon to crown him or anyone else as the best. Yes, Sergio is done but there are many matches to be made to see who takes his place.

  9. Only one of them though is asking to unify and take the big fights and that is GGG, only one of them has dibella scared for Martinez to face, and only one of them has had promoters come out and admit that promoters are scared to put their fighters against GGG, see barkers promoters comments about staying away from GGG, you know barker the guy that put Martinez on his ass. Everyone has put Martinez on his ass lately, if GGG hit him he I'd going to sleep.

Chavez has actually mentioned him recently, though it's unclear whether it was out of honest interest or to play games with Dibella and Martinez about a rematch that was probably imminent to happen this Fall.
